This week I saw a screening as part of the React to Film non-profit series that brought my over-stimulated brain to a full halt. Sing Your Song is a look at the life of wildly handsome and truly heroic Harry Belafonte. Harry’s journey from performing artist to human rights activist is remarkably powerful and left me with the question.. ‘what good is a conscience if it is not awakened?’

The film premieres at IFC Theater in New York tomorrow, January 13th.
